The Prospect Tavern

I've always passed this place when in the area, and I finally had some time to go inside and enjoy an early dinner with my wife. It's a nice pub inside, nothing fancy but it was comfortable and relaxing. We were there during off hours, so it wasn't crowded. I had the chicken cordon bleu, fried dumpling, and my wife had the salmon dish. Everything was top-notch, and we left happy knowing this place is an option.

This place is great! The food is always served exactly as requested and the service has never failed us. Yesterday we were waited on by a young lady who was efficient and timely but also had a demeanor that made us happy each time she appeared. Just lovely. Overall terrific experience - Again.

Nice family own place. I've been coming hear for about 10 yrs. Good food, Good place for dinner or just meet up after happy hr. Like to bring my friends hear to catch up on life. . At the moment they do happy hr 12 to 5pm. Drinks, Apps. My buddy Kenny Bump Spencer had a nice private party for his wedding 3 yrs ago... Anyway Thanks everyone for good service and great time watching Football.....Big fan Mark K....

Great local spot. The food is very good with lots of menu options. I’ve been going here occasionally for the last 8 years. There are two different sections of the restaurant: The tavern side is more noisy, drinks, sports games on tv. Sometimes they have karaoke on weekends. The restaurant side is quieter with more seating. Very cozy. The same menu is available for both sides of the establishment.

We were in town for a sporting event and decided on Prospect Tavern for dinner. It didn't disappoint! Our server was friendly and attentive. The woman who sat us was extremely accommodating and checked in mid-way through our meals as well. Staff, in general, was helpful and personable. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, the food was great! I definitely recommend if in the area.

Don't listen to the one star reviews. This place is very warm and great for conversing. It's not so loud like the other bars around the area. The food is amazing and happy hour prices are great and affordable (you are in a bar after all where drinks are always expensive, but it is very affordable during happy hour). The bartenders are great people and always attend you when you need them. The food is just great! The family are amazing people. No disrespect is tolerated in this location so if you are planning to get drunk and be reckless, well, good luck. It is a great place to eat outside. I have been on a few dates here and always have had a good time. This is a place where you never feel pressure to order right away as some other bars do to customers. This is a peaceful bar/restaurant with a family who deeply cares about their customers. Anthony is a great person who works very very hard, he is the head bartender and will always try his best to help (It can get very busy). Overall, great place for a date, by yourself, or just to hangout with friends. Great atmosphere. I completely 100% recommend it for anyone who wants to get a quick drink or bite, or even relax. Happy hour is 3-6 and prices are amazing. Take my word for it, give it a try. Food is great.
